Horse riding in Menorca and Ibiza

On Menorca and Ibiza you ride on two very different islands. Menorca is a biosphere reserve and mostly flat, with dry-stone walls, enclosed fields and country houses. Ibiza is cosmopolitan and yet rooted in rural traditions, with white houses and fortified churches as typical sights. According to AEMET, average daily highs in July and August are about 29 to 30 degrees on both islands. On Menorca November is the wettest month with around 88 millimetres, on Ibiza October with around 58 millimetres. As a planning hint: spring and autumn suit longer rides, and in high summer the time of day decides. Menorca suits you if you look for flat terrain, Ibiza if you want an island with a rural hinterland. Before booking, ask the provider about riding level, duration, ground, start time and group size.
