Horse riding in Southwest Iceland
Þingvellir lies in the south-west. According to the national park, the Althing assembled there from around 930 until 1798, there are two designated horse trails in the park, and riding on the automobile roads is not allowed. Our selection for riders from Reykjavík lists rides on Icelandic horses, through lava fields and to lakes, according to the provider. Before you book, ask about level, duration and weight limit, the provider states them itself. Below you will find the riding experiences offered by our partner Viator.
