Saddle Atlas

Horse riding in Turkey

Rides take place on the Turkish Riviera near Antalya, Kemer and Alanya and on the Aegean coast near Bodrum. The Riviera combines coast, forests and mountains, and Bodrum has a mild Mediterranean climate and, according to the tourism board, is most pleasant outside the main season. We list only genuine rides of at least one hour, no quad combinations, and we keep animal welfare in view. In Antalya the average daily highs are about 34 degrees in July and August and 21 to 27 degrees in April, May and October. Most rain falls from November to February. As a planning hint: spring and autumn suit longer rides. Before booking, ask the provider about riding level, duration, start time in the heat, and about breaks, water and weight limits for the horses.
